We have a role available in our IT team due to internal promotion, to join our team of four Lead Generation Executives.
The role works alongside our IT team to gather data from online sources. It involves using various software to automatically gather data to be compiled and sent to the team in a uniform fashion for cleansing & enhancement. The ultimate goal is to ensure the team responds to the needs of the business and processing sources to the required deadlines.
We’re searching for someone who can:
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues on data issues and progress
- Manipulate data sets using Microsoft Excel
- Meet data deadlines and data targets in line with programme dates set by sales
- Work with the data team to ensure data is being collected efficiently and promptly with minimal issues
Full training will be provided in the role where needed for the following tasks:
- Using various programming tools for automated data acquisition & lead generation including Webscraper.io
- Incorporating the use of various Python libraries within different scripts to ensure an automated collection process
- Interrogating difficult website code to find out why certain sites cannot be accessed using Python
- Writing Python scripts for automated tasks
Experience using Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of using various formulas and functions to manipulate data is essential. Experience with data gathering using web-based scraping tools and Python as a data collection method is desirable, along with database experience of GIT repositories and MongoDB.

Salary: £20,319 PA (Increasing to £24,000 on completion of initial training & probation)
Working Hours: 37.5 per week - Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm, Friday 8:30am-1.00pm
